The mission of the Monrovia School of Integrated Technology is to provide a learning environment in which all students are educated in a safe, self-paced, non-traditional school setting where they can earn credits toward graduation and prepare for post-secondary success.
From the Director
On behalf of our staff, it is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the Monrovia School of Integrated Technology. The MIT is a school-within-a-school program mutually supporting and located on the campus of Monrovia High School. This structure allows us to meet the unique educational, social, and behavioral needs of our students while providing access to many of the same vocational and extracurricular opportunities that make this community so special.
Students come to us with diverse academic and behavioral needs. Therefore, the MIT endeavors to provide a variety of academic and elective learning opportunities tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning styles while encouraging our students to grow in a safe, supportive, non-traditional learning environment.
Our administration and staff are committed to our MIT families, and we believe that the potential to succeed lies within all of our students. Please do not hesitate to contact your student’s instructor, guidance counselor, or me if you have questions or concerns. Families are also encouraged to monitor their student’s progress through Edmentum Family Sensei.
We look forward to your partnership throughout the duration of your student’s experience in the MIT.
Leslie Gillie, Director
